races | rulesin 1988, it happened: the supernatural beings of the world came "out". after two years of peaceful cohabitating, the supernatural community became restless and decided to attack the human race as one. from 1990 to 1995, battle raged across the earth, and the natural victors rose to power: the monsters. vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, demons, witches, and spirits came together and established a new world order. kings and queens of each species were elected by popular vote and councils were established of the most ancient of each kind as a loosely functioning legislative body. the economy - with almost all human businesses replaced by supernatural businesses - functioned slowly but surely, and it seems almost as though the monsters ruling the earth are living everyday lives, except for the fact that their success is carried on the back of human slaves. but not all humans have stayed in servitude, and there is a group slowly gaining power. they are called the rebels, and they threaten everything that the supernaturals hold dear. this game, based loosely off the original ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) brutes, is based in the united states and is focused on writing and character development in a unique environment. |
